Red rocks on a quiet beach

Every now and again, a beach reveals a remarkable and somewhat unexpected surprise…..

Like this beach at Tathra on the south coast of NSW. The lovely reds and purple colours of the rocks are echoed in the shells and seaweeds scattered on the sand.

Amazing colours everywhere one looks.

This week’s travel challenge posed by Ailsa from Where’s my backpack is beach.

Well for a beach lover like me, who lives a long way from the sea, I could not let this theme go by without posting some of my favourite photos!! 🙂  If you like beach images, be sure to visit Ailsa’s blog, you will find a wonderful collection of her favourites and many more posted by other bloggers.
