Usually, my posts are inspired by photos or events and have a story associated with them. However, I have some photos that are just images that I like and have kept. So, breaking with my traditional style of post, here is a collection of favourite photos that will be added to a Gallery.
In the winter of 2006, I visited a National Park on the south coast of Sydney. The park goes right to the seafront and includes the foreshore.
Sydney is built on sandstone and this beach is one place where this stone is easily seen and enjoyed.
These photos show the effects of iron oxide (rust) which occurs naturally in the stone and creates the most beautiful colours and patterns in the soft rock.
I could not decide which of the four photos to include, so included them all. I hope you like them as much as I do.
